As the leader of ECG's Children's Hospitals practice, Ken understands the unique position these organizations occupy in the healthcare spectrum and the challenges they face as the industry moves toward the delivery of value-based care. Ken has spent nearly 25 years in healthcare planning and operations, either managing directly or consulting to hospitals and schools of medicine, and he has significant experience working for children's hospitals, academic medical centers, pediatric programs, practice plans, and other pediatric physician organizations. His clients rely on his insights as they explore strategic partnerships and alliances as a means to thrive in an evolving healthcare landscape. Ken's work spans strategic and business planning, development of affiliations and other physician/hospital relationships, and topics related to physician group practice formation and operations improvement. Before joining ECG in 2000, Ken was responsible for directing the operations of a hospital-owned, 32-site clinic network.
